The plot
Dead Grandma the Musical is a New York Theater Festival accepted musical-comedy written by David Fried. Two sisters, Esther and Beth, have been estranged for years, but when their mother dies they find themselves under the same Boca roof navigating familiar dynamics while their kids look at the fun-house mirror that is “cousins.” Featuring ABBA loving ghosts, kissing cousins, and the worst dance number ever seen, Dead Grandma the Musical is a comedy about family full of silly details but very real relationships.
